They also lost Drew Allar late in the 4th quarter. He got injured with about 4 minutes left in the game and had to be carted off. He’s done for the season in his last year of eligibility.

damn, that does suck. Still happy Penn State lost, but that’s a huge bummer. Hate it for him.

The natives are beyond getting restless in State College. Im sure theyre fuming. Franklin could be gone soon. Losing to bottom dwelling UCLA and Northwestern at home lol...
If it’s any consolation for State, Northwestern officially has a better record now at 4-2.

All aboard the J-Train Express.

And the BIG wants to talk about being the toughest conference? Please. Outside of Ohio State, they are very shaky. Maybe Indiana but even they are questionable.

Edit: I will give Indiana some credit for taking Oregon on the road. But that just makes me question Oregon now. Thought they were better than that.

Omg thats his buyout? Is that serious?
Yes. Now, it depends on how the buyout is structured. If it’s broken down across multiple years, then it could be doable. But, if he’s due a large sum of that within the first few weeks/months, then it’s going to be damn near impossible to fire him. That’s the issue that KY is facing with Mark Stoops. He’d be owed nearly $40 million within 60 days of KY decided to fire him after this season.

And who do they get?
That's always the issue. They went three rounds into the playoffs LAST YEAR. Gonna need somebody that can do way more than that.

I guess the people that ranked them #2 in preseason kinda poisoned the well

Thats like I hear complaints about really good but not elite guys (maybe Huepel?). I then point out the SEC has 1 HC who has won an SEC champ. One. Give Sark and DeBeor their due from other conferences but still, you get the point.
