North injury? (Rumor) He did get hurt at practice today (8-12-15)

Well technically, Hyams didn't report that -- he said "more positive than negative", which is exactly NOT what he meant to say, but that's just because words are so hard for jimmy.

edit: because when an X-Ray is Negative, it's actually a good thing. AND the counter, when an X-Ray is POSITIVE, it's actually a bad thing.

Got that jimmy?

The tweet was a status report on North - positive.

Apparently it looked scary, was a non-contact injury but he could not bear any weight on it. Sounds like the MRI showed only a sprain?

Of course here is the Radiologist that read the MRI...

Brad now saying he was told y multiple sources in the program...Really do wonder if it was a mole hunt by the AD

Yeah, good point Face, it truly could have been just that. Trying to smoke out the leakers....

:lolabove:

:clapping:

lol yeah, the board overnight was like
:eek:hmy:
then like
then like
 :moon2: :the_finger: :aggressive:
then like
:cray:
then like
then like
 :whistling:
and finally like
:pepper: :dance2:  :dance2: :pepper:

Quite a roller coaster for 12 hours or so.

One thing I've learned from this incident: "sources" is code speak for "I read it on VolNation from an UGa fan," while "multiple program sources" is a little more concrete. Gonna pay close attention to the wording from here on out....

I had never heard of this Brad guy before he started all this commotion. Hopefully I will never hear of him again.

That was his point

Hopefully I will never hear of him again.

And that is the result of this massive whiff.

I really do think his "source" was a forum post. He works for the Daily Beacon and is an Undergrad. What kind of legit sources would he have that Rucker, Brice, etc don't have? None. He's got everything to gain and nothing to lose from this as he can do what he's doing now and just blame his "sources" (now he's got multiple, BTW) for his utter lack of fact-checking.

My guess is he hedged his bets that North's injury he got in practice (that was widely reported) was major based on the rumor mill. A swing and a miss.

Sometimes reporters create a little controversy to get their names out there and get people talking (see Clay Travis asking Tim Tebow if he was a virgin). But in this case, it was poor form by trusting unsubstantiated sources. I don't think that does much to advance a career.
