Please stop covering for that dunce. He tried to make a story when he shouldn't (because who breaks a story at 9PM with "multiple sources"??? a hack, that's who) and now he's getting all the backlash he deserves.Don't think the kid did as much wrong as the grief he is going to receive.
If he has just reported that there was going to be an MRI today and there was some anxiousness about the results he would have really broke a story.
There is no question that there was some anxiousness about the situation or there would not have been an MRI. He just went a little too far in the report of "fear" of being lost for the year but I can bet that was a fear even if everyone thought is was an unlikely outcome.
MRI was precautionary. They do MRIs with most knee injuries. Plus we are a multi million dollar sports program. You better believe we're going to get the best opinions and treatments available.
