I know. That's the reason I used the word "maintain". Vols fans have a tendency to sit on their hands at times.

Makes me very sad watching UNC knock off a ranked Va Tech team with a last second field goal when the Big Orange could've done the same and failed. :cray:

Tough fumble for a freshman...

That'll probably eliminate VT from any shot at making the ACC championship game in Tampa. Georgia Tech won't lose two more conference games down the stretch.

The once "sneak into the BCS Championship" Hokies now have only one less loss than the Vols. Beamer is close to being a Fulmer in an easier conference. No one up here has turned on him yet, though.

Classy move by the NC player going over to console the freshman that fumbled the game away, after the game. Nice to see some sportsmanship in the game.
