Did anybody play this game back in the day? I just ordered it off eBay for $15 shipped! That's a steal! My local used game store didn't have it in stock, but checked the price and said it would be $50 if they did....

This thread is for discussing North and South strategery.

I did. It was fun at the time.

I wish someone would do a Civil War era shooter on a current Gen system.

Although it would probably suck since the weaponry would be boring as hell.

That's because it was a History Channel game. Who developed it? Give it to Infinity Ward or somebody.

I think it would just be super hard to do, considering how primitive the weaponry was.

Could you imagine multiplayer? You are face to face with someone and its a race to see who can load their muzzle loader faster. haha.

North and South was lots of fun. Kick butt in battles and never let a train go by without robbing it, and you'll kill off your opponent pretty quickly.

It would be awesome if someone would actually come out with a great Civil War game on PS3 or XBox360.

Make it to where you had to hit x so many times to reload so the quicker person wins. I think it would be pretty funny/interesting. It would also force you to take smarter shots.

It would be awesome if they made it realistic and the guns had 0 accuracy outside of 50 feet and you just fired blindly into the British formation and reloaded. I would play it.

It would be wild as ****. I was talking to a friend about this yesterday. You could have a squad with a few snipers, but mostly, it would be fixed bayonets or firing from ten feet.

Lolololololololololol really? U guys didn't know the Brits helped out the south because they thought they would be able to recolonize America if the south got a strong foothold on the country.

The LOL is that you would want to play a Civil War video game so that you could kill one of a few red coats that participated in the war.

He said British formation, not that you are actually fighting Brits. Do you guys really not know what he means by British formation? It's spot on, imo.
