Anyone know if bowl tickets will be made available through UT for non-season ticket holders? I went to uttix website and, right now, only season ticket holders are permitted to apply for bowl tickets.

If so, how soon after bowl is announced. Also, is it most likely non-season ticket holders get upper level seats?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I can tell you that having been to many games in the Georgia Dome, between the good site lines and the jumbotrons in each endzone, being in the upper deck is no big deal there IMO.

We were in the upper deck when UT played Maryland.
They were very good seats.

I was actually in the Club level for that one, and I can attest to the fact that even with a padded seat and a cupholder, that game completely sucked.

Priority deadline for season ticket holders to order is December 6 (Sunday). After that you should be able to order.
We need to sell out the GA dome and show folks that TN is coming back!

You can still purchase them from the Chick-fil-a bowl website I bought mine today. This is how Clemson fans scarfed up all the tickets several years ago. Plus buying them from the bowl is over 30 percent less.

It was a terrible game.
I also went to the Orange Bowl the year UT played Nebraska.
TN looked like a high school team playing the '85 Bears. The worst beating I have ever saw TN take.

I just need a solo ticket. Any suggestions as to seating?

Once all of the requests from season ticket holders are fulfilled, tickets should go on sale on UTtix.com.
I know the two times we went to the Outback Bowl, there were tickets available to the general public on the UT website. I imagine there will be for this one too.

Good luck and have fun at the game. Go Vols!

you can also buy tickets through ticketmaster

yeah, but you have no option to pick the section, so you just have to hope you get lucky and end up on the UT side. And buying them from the CFA bowl site requires you to get some sort of package that involves getting tickets to the game every year, which I have no need for.

Do you have to get the packages, as shown in the chik-fil-a bowl website link? And If it's allowed, how much would just a pair of tickets go for on the upper or lower level...(no extra package deals)? I have season tickets, but Ive never went to a bowl game.

Here is my question

I AM a season ticket holder, and I filled out my bowl application today online for the CFA bowl ( I wouldnt miss this game for the world!) Since Im a season ticket holder, am I guaranteed tickets through the UT office, or is it better for me to have a back up, like getting them from the chik fil a bowl website? I just want to make sure, its me and 2 buddies that live in the heart of blacksburg that cant wait and dont want to miss out on tickets for this game!

How did you fill out the application? I tried to, and it asked me for both my account number, and PIN number. How did you get those? If I call the ticket office could they probably give it to me?

Tickets for that bowl are always available way below face, due to all the corporate tickets all over the city that people are trying to sell or give away.

TN had a lot of talent that year too. Kind of ridiculous really. I can see getting beat by a good Nebraska team but good grief 42-17. Central Florida and Texas Tech played them better than we did, Baylor and Kansas played them as well as we did, and Akron played them almost as well as we did. Just sad and embarrassing.

With the exception of our first SECCG, I have bought my tickets to the SECCG and the bowl games after I arrived and 90-95% of the time, I have bought them for face or less, especially if you only need 1.
