Most likely OK would have to lose to Vandy and Bama, while Vandy would have to lose to SC and someone else (not OK). Winner of the Vandy/OK game is going to have a big leg up. They play at OK a week fm Thurs.Vanderbilt (5-5): Miss St, Auburn, OK, SC, TAMU, Missouri
Oklahoma (6-5): Missouri, Vanderbilt, Arkansas Florida, Alabama
I think we can take one more regular season loss and still feel pretty good about hosting in the NCAAs.We have to win out for any of this to matter. Any SEC loss for us now sends us probably somewhere 6-8 and makes hosting in the NCAA less of a sure thing and more dependent on outcomes of SEC tourney.
They almost did last night. They got another loss coming especially if Beers doesn't return soon.Welp that's one big thing we needed. KY was over rated at #8. They are very unlikely to pull off a win against any of the big 3 meaning our game w them could very well be fo 4th place.
Next thing we need is for OK to take a stray.
I think Missouri has another upset or two in them. They played both LSU and us tough. They look like a totally different team than a month ago.Assuming we win out and KY doesn't upset any of the big 3, it's now Vandy and OK standing btw us and a double bye in the SEC, which I think is important due to our style of play.'
KY is now 8-2 but has a monster sched. They need to beat us and one of Texas, LSU, orr SC. Or could lose to us and win 2 of the big 3. Not likely.
Vandy and OK both have 5 losses and both have the tiebreak w us. Need both to lose 2 of their remaining games and they still have to play ea other. OK's sched is pretty favorable for them:

Ole Miss has an outside chance w 4 losses after beating KY last night. Their game against us Sunday is huge. If they beat us, they could lose to LSU and SC and only have to beat Akry and Mizzu to get 4th. If we beat them and grab the tiebreak, they'd have to beat both LSU and SC. Not happening.
Bama has 4 losses and will have either beat us and one of LSU or OK; or lose to us and beat both LSU and OK. Also not likely

Man reading this nearly gave me a headache but at the same time was beautifully written.Assuming we win out and KY doesn't upset any of the big 3, it's now Vandy and OK standing btw us and a double bye in the SEC, which I think is important due to our style of play.'

I'm not usually this detail oriented but it helps me enjoy all the games more if I have a rooting interest in how they help the LVs.Right! I am so grateful to the detail-oriented people who post scenarios on here. I really depend on them.![]()
I could easily see any of the 3-seed in Creme's bracket (TCU, Kansas State, UNC, and Ohio St.) faltering down the stretch and us moving up if we take care of business.
I would say we would need to win out and make it to the SEC championship game in order to get a 3 seed, but that's just my opinion. So yeah, that would mean beating one of those 3.A 3 seed would be ideal. In the latest bracketology we are a 4 in UCLA’s region and while I actually think we could beat them I would much prefer a 2. The current 2s are LSU, UConn, USC & Duke. I would love to play Duke or USC. Juju is streaky and our style could get the team out of rhythm.
Do you think in the SECT we need to beat one of the Big 3 (SC, TX, LSU) in order to secure a 3?
I think that’s right. Basically to be considered for a three seed we have to do what we came within 1.1 sec of doing last yr. Beat a big in the SEC semis on three games in three days legs.I would say we would need to win out and make it to the SEC championship game in order to get a 3 seed, but that's just my opinion. FuWe are planning to go. I have heard Greenville is nice, and it is a good time in the semester to take a mental reset.
Is Swamp Rabbit Trail multi-use? I love trail running, particularly in different areas of the country, so that will be a priority for me!I grew up in Easley which is 10 miles from Greenville. You'll love the tree lined downtown of Greenville. Falls Park on the Reedy River in the heart of the city is gorgeous. Lots of great dinning in the area. If there are any cyclists reading this the Swamp Rabbit Trail starts above Furman University extends into the city and what a scenic ride it is. Greenville's downtown is walkable and far better landscaped than Columbia although we're improving. To Columbia's credit we are the first planned state capital in our country.
The SEC Tournament is where the rigors of Kim's body-exhausting system will collide with the rigors of back-to-back-to-back(to back?) games. It's going to be tough, no doubt, with or without byes. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds.I think that’s right. Basically to be considered for a three seed we have to do what we came within 1.1 sec of doing last yr. Yes. It is open to biking, electric biking, ( rentable) running and walking. Scenery is improving. It is expanding southeast of downtown toward Mauldin|Simpsonville tooIs Swamp Rabbit Trail multi-use? And thank you- your description made me even more excited for the trip.
Back in 2017 I happened to be doing some work in Greenville and was staying there for a few weeks. Ended up being able to watch a day of the SEC tournament. Really nice area and nice stadium. We are planning to go. I have heard Greenville is nice, and it is a good time in the semester to take a mental reset.
This is a pretty useful tool for mapping out all different scenarios: mred's SEC WBB Tournament Seeding TiebreakerRight! I am so grateful to the detail-oriented people who post scenarios on here. I really depend on them.![]()
Furman is turning into our family school! Absolutely wonderful for an academically inclined kid looking for a small school environment.
