left to right Amari DeBerry, Paige Beuckers, Azzi Fudd, Caroline Ducharme. Saylor Poffennbarger sat to the left of Amari at that game which was either ND or LV. I don't rememberOops, never mind. She may be the latest commit for UConn.

This group came to a lot of UConn games together and usually all sat together
This is another game with KK Bransford, Saylor and Caroline

So this group of five “came to a lot of games together”? Were they official visits for “a lot of games” seeing as how they all managed to somehow get seats together like someone at CT arranged for them to? Or were they all coming regularly to games together on “unofficial” visits and just through sheer luck ended up getting seats together?
No, you are correct.I know the goal here is to always catch UConn cheating. We all strive for that. And I admit I'm not 100% versed in all NCAA rules but I believe a school can provide complimentary tickets to all visitors/recruits even on unofficial trips. I'm pretty sure the LVs do the same thing. So as long as those 5 paid their own way to CT games I don't think they broke any rules. But I'm certainly more than happy to hear if I'm wrong.
And how cool was it that Geno’s buddy, Kyrie Irving, just happened to come by for a visit on a day that Geno’s biggest prize, Paige Bueckers (whose favorite player is Kyrie) is visiting! Auriemma sure is lucky!
And the question again is why are you here? If this thread is going to devolve into a forum for UConn fans to show theirs rears (like this particular post), the thread needs to be deleted.Hopkins Phenom Paige Bueckers Heading To UConn With WNBA Dreams In Tow
All that work led her to coach Geno Auriemma and the University of Connecticut Huskies. She will play for a program that, like Hopkins, expects to win and expects players to perform. It is where she hopes she can develop into a WNBA guard.
“I mean, it’s always been my dream school, and I love their program, and I love their coaches, and I love the way they do things,” Bueckers said. “It’s such like a professional program, and that’s all I aspire to be is a professional.”
I’m not a UConn fan.Seriously, we have to find a way to block Uconn fans here.
I only posted that link and quote to clear up that having Kyre Irwin on campus didn’t cause Bueckers to come to UConn.

For all these players to regularly attend CT games and always get to sit together — from these distances — is interesting.
Bueckers — Minnetonka, Minnesota — 1,340 miles to Storrs
DeBerry — Williamsville, NY — 412 miles
Fudd — Washington, D.C. — 363 miles
Ducharme — Boston, MA — 85 miles
Poffenbarger — Middletown, MD — 384 miles
But then again, Auriemma does have the most amazing luck of anyone win WCBB regarding recruits — in many ways. It has always amazed me how lucky he’s been that soooo often his biggest stars from the past “just happen to visit” at the same time prized recruits happen to be visiting. Wow! Did I say it was THE reason? Of course it wasn't the only reason. But it sure doesn't hurt when particularly super-prized recruits come on official visits to CT at the same time their basketball idols "just happen to drop by" to say hey and schmooze it up with the kids. Does it? It happens too often to merely be coincidence.
Yeah, The BY even has pictures of them having birthday parties together and McGraw's bench has pictures of them at ND games and Azzi was at more Maryland games than UConn games. And what about Kobe and Gigi being such big UConn supporters and Kobe gave these girls private tips on their games and what about the girls coaching Gigi's team.So this group of five “came to a lot of games together”? Really. If you spent some time on other boards and read their recruiting posts you would see similar things happening all the time. The level of these girls brings them into contact and situations that are far from the normal high school senior who was all state or all conference. If you read other schools posts you would be aware of this stuff. Women's college basketball is a big wide wonderful world right now. to be honest, IMO, there are many posters on this forum who don't understand that the game has moved far beyond the times when CPS and the LV's ruled the land. One of the reasons HW failed was because she did not adapt to the new reality. These girls are so much more sophisticated and experienced than 10 years ago. That's why I think KJH is a great choice for the LV's. She gets it and hopefully she will succeed in bringing the LV's into the current culture.
We do not have to have a non-Lady Vol thread. This is a courtesy. You are on a Lady Vol forum so I don’t think you have any standing to welcome anyone here. You are a guest. You should act like one. This is the Non-Lady Vol thread so we can discuss other teams besides the Lady Vols. If you jump on posters for doing that in this thread, you're just being a jerk. I welcome all fans of all teams to have an open and honest discussion here. People can stick their head in the sand if they want, but there are other teams out there and some of us like to stay informed about what is going on with them.

I can’t stand Geno and my disdain for UConn is unmatched. With that being said, don’t hate the player, hate the game. The NCAA is crooked and they allow it to go on. He’s only playing by the rules they’ve allowed him to circumvent for years. So this group of five “came to a lot of games together”? You absolutely correct is saying we don't have to have one, but we choose to have one so what is your point? I've been on this forum for 12 years and I don't need you to tell me how to act. You are a guest as well so act like it. If freak wants to boot me that's fine. If you want to belittle posters and discussions of other teams, well you need to learn to deal with it because it's going to happen. Just know that your actions reflect on the fan base as a whole and particularly on the Lady Vol fan base.We do not have to have a non-Lady Vol thread. This is a courtesy.
