but CBJ should be feeling embarrassed after last night. We might be the best team in the east with Dobbs starting, and here we are fighting for our bowl game lives again. And on a side note, bajaikan critics need a fat serving of crow.

They won in spite of the past calling. Dobbs and Hurd are gamers. The defense never quits. But anyone with a lick of football sense can see Jake is over his head.

I doubt he feels too embarrassed after getting the first road win not at vandy or kentucky since 2007.

If Dobbs had started behind this OL at the beginning of the season there would have been nothing but a greasy pile of goo left.

Butch did the right thing...saved the Vol's future by attempting to red-shirt Dobbs and give the OL some time to get their feet underneath them.

I can get behind this, even though I'd say that we probably dont have to wait this long if Dobbs started from the get go.

Or it could be that I was posting here long before "likes" were introduced and I rarely have the time to post anymore but believe what you want.

Last night was an amazing game. I loved the way the team fought through adversity and Butch kept them focused. However all of that did not excuse some of the wth playcalling through the first 3.5 quarters. The game was won because Dobbs improvised, extended plays and guys refused to lose. It wasn't because of some great scheme or play he called.

Im not 100% sure if Butch did the right thing or not but I will say this, I too doubt we would have a healthy Josh Dobbs right now if he had been starting since the first game. Lets also not forget that Worley proved why he was starting in several of those games.

I dont have a lot of problems with the OC tonight but the DC had me scratching my head. #11 almost beat us by himself

I am a firm believer that people who frequent this site should be able to express themselves but this OP Pisces me off. Aren't there better places for you to play like I-40?

Butch Jones, "the consummate players' coach, number one, wanted to get to a bowl with his workaholic senior QB while giving the young aeronautical engineer candidate a little time to further his career maybe the wish of his parents. Circumstances change and both the QB and his parents have given their All for Tennessee. The coach has remained true to his beliefs and if you don't believe this coach is going to return Tennessee to the promised land don't know what else to say! He may be the best in the country on par with Nick Saban. Just give him a little time!

PS, if we went to a bowl game this year, an extra year of Josh Dobbs at the helm would probably result in a National Championship down the road. Who knows, maybe we win one with him a year short!

Lol. Alright.

Yeah I agree with you on that. Two weeks in a row their best receiver gets constantly matched up with Coleman our slowest corner. You'd think after the first quarter they'd tell Cam you got #11.

Yes and yes. But the retrospect o scope guineus armchair QB are sure that they r much smarter than our staff.

Plus butch is a man of his word and tried to save Dobbs redshirt as he had promised the kid and his family.

WOW... I laughed for a solid 10 minutes...

I made a thread just for people like you who would insist on making a negative post after one of the most impressive games I have seen our vols play in 6-7 years.

W scored 45 points.. had 2 100+ yards rushers

344 yards rushing... 301 yards passing

and Jake is in over his head?

and say anyone with a lick of football sense can see it?

WOW.. just WOW is all I can say.

Please enlighten us on how you figured this out?

SET AN ALL TIME UT QB RUSHING RECORD... ALL TIME!!!!!!

and still you try to hold on to the jake hate...

JUST SHUT UP SIT DOWN AND EAT YOUR CROW.

because making a post like this just shows how low your football IQ actually is.

We have finally seen what Bajakian's offense looks like with a mobile QB, and it is damn impressive.

Has Coleman been released from the Columbia General burn ward yet? The other teams have found him and now there is a big hole in the D.
