Nobody is talking about the Littrell factor..

He’s perfectly capable.

There’s a lot going on with that kid.
I really applaud Heupel for trying to change his life.
It’s time to change his life by putting his film up in front of the team and letting it speak for itself. It’s a shame that he is stealing time from someone that would take pride in giving effort. The bright spot is that he won’t be here next year, I’d love to be wrong.

I was wanting to credit Halzle for improving his craft but you are probably correct.
For Litrell and Chaney's(or any of the other various coaches they talked to across CFB and the NFL) suggestions or input to matter, Heuple and Halzle had to be willing to accept aspects of their scheme were no longer effective and be completely open to their suggestions.

It is relatively rare you find a coach so willing to change up what they're doing. Heupel could have just as easily said his scheme/game planning/play calling wasn't the problem and the QB play was to blame. He had years on top of years of elite offensive production from his scheme, so would have been very easy for him to be stubborn about it. Instead, this is a 2nd straight season of Heupel being a willing listener to criticism and changes.

We're fortunate to have such a brilliant and open offensive mind as our head coach.

Ole Miss gave us the blueprint. Run it if we get a light box. Take shots downfield if they load up. I like our chances winning the one on one battles on the perimeter, Joey just needs to get the ball out on time because OU will have a strong pass rush
Mason is a dog. Might be one of the best defensive players in the SEC.

With one of the greatest running QBs of this century behind center.
Wasn't it to go up 21-0? Oklahoma probably quits there with a UT TD

I am still pissed about that BS call from the Big XII refs on that pass interference on 4th down where Mayfield sailed it into the 4th row of Section J

You really think they would have quit if we went up 21-0. That’s silly. If that was true, they were just as likely to have quit at 17-0.

With Seth Littrell being on offensive analyst here now, it's hard not to imagine that he has had this game circled for some time and is putting in extra work to make sure that he gets to give his old boss a big thank you....I would expect some well scripted scoring series in the first half. Any thoughts on what we may try to exploit on the Oklahoma defense?
wonder how much of an impact he’s already made or if the offense’s improvement is all joey?

He has actually made very few mistakes, 6 int. but most of those were on the receivers, only 1 bad one against Bama, but thats really the only bad one I can remember.
He under threw a jump ball against UGA. The receiver didn't have much of a chance to get back to the ball. It was on 3rd down, so basically became a short punt.
