Noah's Ark Encounter Opens In Kentucky

The last picture illustrates how some of you folks love to mock others who have a different view of things. You worship making fun of others.

Slice is good people. He's a believer, just a slightly different view on things than most. You have to be able to laugh at yourself sometimes.

The last picture was posted by a Mesanic Jew who believes the only way to YHVH is threw his son Yeshua/Jesus.
Yeshua said he's not G-d and I believe him.

It was a joke. Lighten up

Domesticated cats were known only in northern Africa until the past 3 millenia or so. Wild felines were known, however, and mentioned many times.

His point stands, considering that much of the OT record happened in Northern Africa--Egypt to be specific.

With that said... What do you think the purpose of the Bible is/was? As a believer, I would hope that your answer is not "taxonomy reference", and would be closer to "to relay the message of man's fall, God's promised/fulfilled redemption". A lack of dinosaur description would not interfere with that purpose at all.

From reading your historical posts, I would have considered you above an "argument from silence".

Not religious so I don't really understand what Messianic Jews and YHVH and Yeshua mean. It just smacks of mockery to me. I'm out.

If you're not religious then why does it bother you so much? YHVH is Yahweh without the vowels. Basically, Jews spell it that way out of respect to God. Same reason to why he uses G-d. Don't get offended when you're admittedly ignorant on the subject.

I was gone, but one more. I am offended by people mocking others, regardless of subject matter. There are many who would find that offensive. It strikes me as schoolyard bullying. Do what you like.

Too many people get upset over religion.
I appreciate your attempt to edumacate him but I don't think he wants to understand. Some people go out of their way to be offended

Again... I'm not convinced in either direction. I don't know how old the earth is. I'm not saying that God is describing dinosaurs that walked with Job. I'm merely stating that your criticism of young-earthers' Bible-interpretation is built on shaky ground, so you might want to consider not using it.)

It is not built on shaky ground. It is built on understanding that Job was not written as history, was not understood as history by its audience, and no legitimate historian or scholar considers it historical. There is no historical account in the Bible that references Leviathan.

Your case is the same as a person in the year 6016 assuming that goblins and elves must have existed because they read this historical text called "Harry Potter."
