Fast. Haha I haven't took one but my friend Shaquan ( freshman safety at my highschool) runs a 4.7 so I'd say right now I run 4.75 or 4.8 but 40 times mean nothing to me because in deceptively (sp?) fast. I'm tall and have long strides.

My school won a state championship with at least 1 OL that size. Granted it was 1A ball, but small OL at the high school level aren't rare at all at smaller schools.

I'm confused. What does it matter how long your stride is or how deceptive you are? Your speed is your speed, whether you take 30 steps or 300 steps when going from A to B. A bicycle going 20 mph is traveling no faster than a tractor going 20 mph.

I know Pattonville well. Like you said not a lot of talent there, but maybe you can be one of the first. I coach the Lafayette HS(Wildwood) junior Lancers (7th grade this year) My son plays WR and CB, he also is the Kicker and Punter. Maybe you guys will play against each other in a few years. Good Luck and keep working hard

There is a difference in 40 speed and football speed. I have football speed.

I played at 215 in 3-A. We were alright.

I played LT and MLB at 6'1" 230lbs my senior year. My natural position was DE but at a 1A school you play where you're needed.

I don't know why this thread turned into this, but:

When I played I was 5-7, 160 and ran a 4.6. I played RB and DB. Both ways. Class 5A in Florida.

But I stopped playing to play tennis - yes I know, tennis. But at least that got me to Tennessee and my love affair with orange began.

My Dr said I was going to be 6'4 when I was 5 years old. I am 6'2. Lucky guess, science, or was he a wizard, I am not sure.

I will be a Freshman next year and I play basketball,i'm 6 feet tall and i'm 143 pounds. I play the 4 but will most likely end up a 3/4 hybird. I think I will be somewhere in the 6'3-6'5 height range. Just thought I would throw this out there since everyone else is.:)
