No way JG starts next year

Can't handle the pressure in the red zone. Need a QB with wheels to get to the edge for now. Hasselbeck described how JG has a late release. Surprised that Weinke and Chaney can't see that. We are 111th in the nation in red zone effiencey. There's actually no where else to go but up,imo and that's without JG.

If JG is the best coming out of practice, he will be the main man next year. But, the hate will keep coming from the assclowns on here.
Assclowns? Do you understand the object of the game, it is to out score your opponent. #2 is just not a good qb. Clemson and LSU are in the national championship game because they have the two best qb’s in college football. We don’t even have the best qb in the state of Tennessee

He really cant. Just consistently inconsistent.

If he is your best, you are screwed.

True. I wouldn't be surprised to see him play well in the 2nd half. He's only played great an entire game maybe 3 or 4 times since becoming a Vol

TN will not play the best player.

We will play the lesser of the two and the person who rarely sees the field at UT will not get quality time until they are an NFL starter and pro-bowler their rookie season.

This is the way!

There's been zero reason to have JG start any game since he's been here. But guess what. He's still been our QB.

I fear for next year if he is still here.

He is bottlenecking our entire offense.
Program killer/ coach getting fired type of guy

I'm sure those two see it.

It appears we have the best one on the team otherwise someone else would start. Who knows, maybe we see someone new in the 2nd half. JJ will be back and that will be a huge lift.

How in he world does a guy good enough to throw for 400 + one game look like this in another. We need somebody who can show some consistency and hit an open receiver in the end zone. I don't care who it is, but I think Bailey might be the one.

Would y’all be willing to see JG transfer? I would not want my 5th year senior who has played in every venue imaginable in the SEC transfer.

If he doesn’t start, I would think that would be his move.

Yes. If, with all that great experience, he is still an inconsistent basket case...yup. Maybe a fresh scene would be good for him, and UT could move on with a potentially more consistent qb with a higher ceiling. At some point, the Jekyll and Hyde crap is worse than a developing yound qb (with more upside). That he still hasn't gotten the mental game down makes me wonder if he ever will.
