No way Fulmer should not be getting a $3 million buyout.

I just can't comprehend how a coach that teared up as he did would take a $3 million buyout from the university he loves so much. Crocidile tears maybe. Mike (manipulated) Hamilton needs to be removed!

He had a "good" season in 07, he had a good agent, and he signed an excellent contract. Kudos to him and his agent. Hamilton screwed this one up big time, but a contract is a contract and he deserves every single penny that it calls for.

I think the OP is saying, even with a contract, how could Fulmer's conscience allow him to take that big payoff, especially since Fulmer loves UT so much?

why give a coach that kind of contract when no one has ever tried to hire him away from UT I believe Hamilton should answer for it I believe Fulmer would have took a pay cut and coached There's something wrong with that whole deal

If you have a complaint about this contract, direct it to the office who negotiated the contract on UT's behalf. That would be the AD's office.

If you sell your house and feel like you got a good price for it, after the buyer realizes it wasn't such a good deal, would your write a check for the difference to ease you conscience?

We're talking about Fulmer's true, unabashed love for UT, the school that has given him so much for all these years, and Phil saying, "I love this place so much, I really shouldn't take this money."

Crazy, yeah, but I think that's what the OP was saying.....maybe not.

Noone here would be stupid errrr, honorable enough to turn down $3 or $6 million. I know I wouldn't, no matter how much I loved the University.

Think about how much your wife loves the house. Do you write the check eventhough you sold the house?

Fulmer should take every penny and never feel an ounce of guilt. He did what was best for him and his family. That's what we all do. Get used to the real world. That's how it works.
