I wouldn't be surprised if Kyle Phillips or Shy Tuttle gets drafted. Phillips saw dramatic improvement this season under Pruitt. Also some possible early entrants, albeit, we'd like to keep them.

Usually, in the NFL, the teams look for a mix of production and talent. The NBA draft is more potential level rather than production.

I honestly think it speaks more to the lack of physical and mechanical development under Butch. Theres no way that ZERO of the players that Butch brought in from those classes weren't talented enough to be an NFL prospect.

Ask yourself a question. Would you want to hire someone who gives up on their team like most of these guys did? Especially those last two games this year. I saw more enthusiasm from them running to the locker room than I saw on the field. Who wants someone with that kind of heart on their team?

I looked over recent recruiting classes and for it to be THAT bad, it has to be coaching and player development.

You can’t consistently recruit and be in the top 20 of recruiting rankings and not have dudes who have NFL ability.

Let this sink in cause it's a sad reality... The reason people are concerned about them leaving is they are the best receivers we have. They aren't good mind you just the best we have, might be two deep in the 2019 season but we wont know until after spring ball.

But but but we have the talent, all it needs is good coaching and we should have been a 10 win team this year!

From one of the longest standing record of getting kids drafted every year to this, how our program has fallen. Butch really was the perfect storm. The shiny paint job with spinning gold rims while the engine and the transmission rusted out from underneath.

I think if Pruitt can sell development that a stat like that won’t deter recruiting.

Disagree. Inherent talent and desire are more important. I've never been a coach but my Dad was. He said it's easy to be a good coach if you have great talent to work with.

When NFL teams draft huge players based on their potential NOT their performance, guys like Daniel McCullers get drafted & McKenzie gets drafted.
No way KC drafted McKenzie based on his performance on the OLine because he didn't play O Line in college
Ty Shuttle is a big guy so he will be drafted to plug the home on defense to stop the run game
