Speaking of talent: The following U T alum were cut from NFL teams yesterday

Eli Wolf, Kendall Vickers, Emanuel Mosley, Colron Jumper, Josh Smith, Evan Berry, Tyler Bray

The Titans need to sign Bray, Gabbart is horrible.

I second this. Without doing any research, I believe we have a fair number of Butch Jones recruits on active NFL rosters, so I would venture to say it's more a lack of good coaching than lack of talent. I've been following UT football since '86, starting with Dooley through Jones, this is the toughest stretch of football I've seen. I know it's hard, but let's keep everything in perspective. We got handled by a potential top 10 team with a Heisman contending QB. It's a long season guys, and we're only one game in. GB

Agree with most of this. Butch recruited well. I think his biggest bust so far has been Drew Richmond, and possibly K. Mckenzie. Def. did not play up to their rankings. Yet we have a 2* featured back who is tearing it up John Kelly style.

However, I'm probably in the minority saying that WV is just an average team. Paper Tigers. Once Will Grier goes against better teams this season, I bet he will look quite average. Wait til the OK game. This supposed "heisman" campaign will be a fleeting thought once reality sets in going against a team of that caliber.

Look at what our 2* running back in Tim Jordan did to their run defense. They will get beat handily by OU and at least beat by 1 or 2 other Big 12 schools.

DESPITE YOUR STUPID EXPECTATIONS UT WAS NOT GOING UNDEFEATED! 8-4 WILL BE A GREAT SEASON AND STILL VERY ATTAINABLE FROM WHAT I SAW OF ALL OUR REMAINING OPPONENTS!
