It amazes me that there are grown men on this board who call themselves football fans but who don't know enough about the game to be able to tell how much deeper Auburn's talent is than ours. I've got no idea what kind of coach Kiffin is going to turn out to be, but he just doesn't have the horses right now.

Not sure how deep AU really is, but our D is better than theirs.

And their O is 3 steps ahead of ours.

Not what I said at all. I'm basically questioning their intelligence. A grown man who cares about something enough to devote this much time to it ought to be able to tell when an offensive line is overmatched, when a team doesn't have any depth, when receivers are screwing up, etc. Blaming everything on the QB is something that a little kid does before he learns any better.

I don't claim to be a football expert, but it's astonishing how simplistic so many fans are about something that they supposedly care so much about.

I'm not an expert on the AU roster, but it was mentioned a couple different times during the game that they didn't have any depth on defense either.
