Ok the Big Orange Offense was bad in the SC game. Most fans myself included are bummed.

Most fans probably think SC didn't have a chance to win but they are more talented than you may think. Team

2014. 7 16
2015. 3 19

Not trying to make any excuses for loosing the game. Just saying it was never a slam dunk. With injuries SC may have had more talent in the field. There are no sure wins in the SEC.

It's less about the overall recruiting ranking and more about the 4 &5 star recruits. -- and then they have to stay and be developed

We have recruited some good players but they are out matched and over powered going against SEC quality week after week and thus we have almost the entire team injured

Their QB went 15/20 with 2 TD's and no INT's and this time last year he was skipping class and fingering Mary Jane Rottencrotch.

USC had not scored more than 21pts all year.

No sure wins when your offense can't score more than 14 points against sub par defense and you have 3 turnovers. This team has no "sure wins" against App State, USCe and Ohio. I wouldn't be surprised if we lose another. Butch wouldn't have "sure wins" with this team in the SunBelt. He's done a horrible job of player development.

We fielded the more experienced and talented team. No excuses for what we saw.

That is true. For South Carolina, Rico Dowdle, Jamarcus King, Jake Bentley, Brian Edwards are all first year players. If you take King out of that group, you are looking at true freshmen that are making the plays for the gamecocks.

I was NOT defending the UT staff or players. It was simply an FYI for fans that thought we had far superior talent.

I was surprised but not shocked by the SC game. We've baaically played just a handful of good quarters all season.

The light came on for me when UGA got exposed. After Vandy shut them down I had the thought that TN Tech would be the only lock left on the schedule. I think we can get by Mizzou but UK looks like a tough one. A Vandy loss might break by mind but it's very realistic.

I get the injuries impacting Bama, A&M, but shouldn't we be able to muster as much offense against SC as UMass?

This team has been miamanaged. No turning Kamara loose until injuries force it. No qb coach for Dobbs. The scheme is bizarre and I've been baffled by but since Butch's first game here. Our playmakers never get the ball. Our DBs cannot find the ball. Out linemen seem to never develop. Our WRs have never seemed to get separation. The DeBord hire....how can the average fan see how bad this is but a power five head coach can't.

No doubt Butch has been a step up from Dooley, but who wouldn't be. I love the face he puts on the program, but I don't ever see him winning the SEC.

He reminds me of a post Cutcliffe Phil Fulmer. He still recruits well, but plays down to lower opponents and is too loyal to underperforming assistants.

No excuse for this loss. Our guys looked like they were there because it was required. No fire or umph at all. Very disappointing. We'll do good to win out & get a decent bowl

You have the wrong guy. He is a far better person to skip class and finger your sister. He is a super young man and he is a very good QB that was ranked top 5 in his class. Keep searching and keep your sister in the house.:p
