No QB in next recruiting class

I do not see any QBs in our next recruiting class ..I know we have Worley, Dobbs, Riley and Peterman but with Worley being a senior next year and strong chances of one of Riley or Dobbs or Peterman transferring if not slated as starter, Do you guys think UT should try and land a good QB ?
Not trying to be smarter than Butch ..just curious ..!!

We are currently pursuing a quarterback for this class.

And personally, I don't think it's an issue. Sure it's ideal to have a qb in each class but having the right quarterback is even more important. I'd rather use the scholly elsewhere than bring in a QB that's not going to be able to compete.

I don't think we will name a starter until August unless someone blows everyone away at the Spring game. All will go into the fall feeling they have a chance.

Next year it will be a battle of Riley and Josh. It's hard to think that Dobbs will transfer he want's the degree more than anything. Riley would be the one I would think might take a look if Dobbs beats him. Who cares though that's a long way away to worry about it now.

I think the only QB we're pursuing is Jalan McClendon, but he seems pretty solid to NC St. Otherwise, we're probably not going to take a QB in this class, unless it's some high profile flip (like Sean White wants in). We might get a walk-on; in-state Luke Ward is out there.

Anyway, I think the only QB of ours at risk of transferring is Peterman. He might get one more shot, but after that dismal performance in the swamp, it would seem that Worley and both freshmen are ahead of him now.

Dobbs will be our starter for the next three seasons. We will be ok. :clapping:

I honestly can't wait to find out what QB we land for '15 class. It's exciting. Somebody top rated will want to join this party. I hope we land the top dual threat guy. We need that in this offense. I know some say we don't, but IMO we do. The threat of a QB to run makes this scheme saucy

Assuming Ferg gets a RS this year, that staggers the QB classes and works the numbers out just fine. Next year we end up with a senior Worley, a RS-Soph (Junior) Peterman, a true sophomore Dobbs, and a RS-Fr Ferg.

why waste a scholorship in this class when we need to address so many other areas. Be stupid to pick up a qb in this class unless its someone like Cammy Cam or Johnny Foozball

I'm almost sad that this is John Pigskin's last season in college football. He's a truly incredible player, attitude issues and all.

Generally, I think most programs try to take 1 QB a year. Last year we took 2. Skip a year and hit it hard for the following class.
