No Positive Tests

Last time I tried to correct a misinterpretation regarding Clemson football I found a rattlesnake in my mailbox, my porch light shot out and sugar in my gas tank.

"Football Matters is a National Football Foundation initiative that promotes sportsmanship, academic achievement, and the character-building aspects of the game. "

Last time I found sugar in my gas tank it was my Suzuki 305 at the Cas Walkers in Vestal where I worked as a bagboy when I was 16.

Right. Like anyone is for police brutality. I’m not for brutality from criminals towards our police force either
Its called virtue signaling. You know, where someone says something to feel morally superior to others who have not openly expressed the same sentiment. It's dumb. No one should have to feel like they have to say they are against bad things in society. That is..what is that buzzword, toxic.

Ah yes, let us rejoice and weed out any who do not pay homage to the mantra crafted by the revolutionary brothers to identify those miscreants who do not share our glorious agenda. I remember well how it worked out the last time.

Meh, not the way I took it. He's got a big responsibility with these guys, some of them fresh out of high school and there is a lot going on in the world right now. I see nothing morally superior about publicly letting the guys know he's on their side, which is the way I see it.

Nothing to get panties in a wad either way.

Yea, originally I had "your panties" but I meant it in general not you specifically, that's why I took "your" out. I didn't mean to insinuate you did, just saying no one should either way.

Besides, you're prolly wearing them around your head.

I watched a video of young Daniel Shaver murdered by a psycho cop. It almost made me cry. He reminded me of my son (who is alive and well, he just looked like him). I haven't been effected that way by a video since I made the mistake of watching the Daniel Purl video. 99% of the police are fine people. Then, there's that element. Everybody knows that.

That was a clear case of badly trained + bad cop if ever there was one. But oddly, nobody felt the need to burn down the cities they live in in honor of young Shaver. Guess when it is a white cop killing an unarmed white guy, nobody cares - kind of like how nobody seems to really care about black criminals killing other black people. When people get ready to march, take a knee, protest, etc about THAT and the utter unmitigated failure of Democrats (many of them black) who run ALL inner cities (where the predominance of such crimes happen against black people) to protect and better the lives of those they pretend to govern - let me know.

Meanwhile on May 31, 18 people were murdered in Chicago - do any of you know their names? and just who runs that place again? When you begin to look at real facts, THAT is being actually "Woke".

One thing about Pruitt is he's consistent...straight forward, down the middle w/o hoopla. Doesn't tweet stuff which ends up being unforced errors, unlike Clemson and FSt and other coaches.
😭😭😭😭 CJP. That's my head coach!!!!

dobre_shunka, No snakes from me. I actually appreciate you clearing it up. I am a big enough man to admit if I have made a mistake. I still think Dabo, in this hyped up climate, should have used a little better judgement though.

I think his judgment is fine; you can't live a parsed life based upon how someone, somewhere is going to react.
People who reactively attribute things to other people are the problem.

I know a lot of people are saying this and that but to me check out that persons life his children’s life how do they live how they were brought up more than just words anyone can march and say words but give me some background let’s look at that I’m talking about your entire life.
Come on man. I am not the same man I was at 19. I was stupid and thought I knew everything. If I knew now just have of what I thought I knew back then I would be one of the smartest men to have walked the face of the earth. Everyone has made mistakes in their past. The key is to learn from them and move on. People that judge a person today for something they may have said or done when they were young must have never left their house when they were young. Lord knows I made mistakes and I am sure you have made your share of them. Do you really want someone digging through your past looking for perfection? I know I don't. SMH

This has to be trying times for coaches and staffs. I think showing solidarity with your players is always the right way to go and help builds the cohesive unit needed for winning. Like in the military you want to know your commander has your back. Pruitt is doing well.

Dabo on the other hand is not reading the room very well:

Nothing wrong with his shirt and nothing wrong with what he is doing. If anyone has an issue with this then they need to go like Nirvana.
