No more Alabama!

If sankey is not in on it, then why did he not sanction and fine Saban for falsely announcing a SEC policy change?

Tennessee probably has more rivals than any other SEC team. Alabama Florida Georgia Kentucky and of course it is Vanderbilt's season. Of these I would say only Alabama has a bigger rival (Auburn) then Tennessee.
Money and expansion are destroying College Football. Tennessee should play Alabama Florida Georgia and Kentucky every year. Vanderbilt should be kicked out of the conference, they bring nothing to the table. I could care less about having Texas and Oklahoma in the SEC, they don't belong. Clemson is a better fit.

Truthfully Missouri has no business in the SEC either. They really bring very little to the table.

So if Saban is correct it is 1-7. It will take 14 years to play all the other conf. teams home and home. Ridiculous and sad. If Tennessee gets Vanderbilt, I will probably throw up at the announcement.

While I'm ranting, let's talk about the stupidity of a 12 team playoff. Name one time in history where the #5, #6, etc. ranked team deserved or was even mentioned as having a chance to be national champion.

How many years of this stupid 12 team playoff will it take before the #5 -#12 team makes the championship game let alone win it. #4 probably has a chance, mainly because it would likely be an SEC team.

This is nothing but about TV money, and a distraction for 3 or 4 weeks. SEC and Big10 will get 2 or 3 teams every year. Assuming these conf exist Pac 10 or 12, Big 12, ACC will fill 4 spots. And of course there will always be room for a 9-3 Notre Dame.
Total agree about Vanderbilt.

4 1/2 hour games vs Mizzou that are inflated because of ad time vs. 3 1/2 hour games against Alabama. They are trying to turning golden experiences into ho hum games that we care as much about watching as if we were playing Florida Atlantic. It’s truly tragic. The worst willful destruction of tradition in a sport I’ve ever seen and it’s not even close. Greed is going to ruin this game.

Rotating all the teams is the only fair way to do it. All teams are up and down throughout the years, but no SEC teams are pushovers. Having Vandy as our "Rivalry" not a bad thing and is logical being in State.

"we’ve prepared our whole lives for moments like this, and we should never take it for granted,” Beasley said. I hope the upperclassman (especially) really shows this kind of attitude come Saturday in Tuscaloosa ...There's enough seniors/juniors and experience on the team to really make Bama remember who they (UT) were down there.....

It’s the south’s oldest rivalry game and take it from someone who lives in Georgia..that game means much more to dawg fans than the cocktail party
I grew up in Georgia. Most of my family went to uga and roots for them. I never could stand that ugly mascot or their obnoxious fans.

Anyway you're completely wrong. Maybe in Atlanta it would be auburn but for the rest of the state they would pick Florida. Plus south Georgia loves for that game since its closer than athens. And again doesn't matter what you or I think if there is only 1 permanent opponent auburn is gonna get bama and Florida has no more obvious top rival than Georgie.
