If we hire an actual football coach and not a snake oil salesmen then he will be able to develop the talent we have. Much like Bruce Pearl turned our horrid basketball team in a year. Much like Scott Frost turned UCF from 0-12 to 12-0, this can be done almost overnight. IF we hire a real coach and staff

You are so wrong. We have very little talent on this team. It will take time to get better.

Not many coaches want to take over this team as far as we have fallen. One new name is Dana Holgersen according to the broadcast team but I'm not sure even he would want the challenge.

Yep this program is not going to turn around overnight. If you watched the Texas/Texas Tech game you saaw where Texas was better in some aspects yet TT beat them & this was just Hermann's first year at Texas. Ironically, Texas Tech was/is supposed to fire Kingsbury; haven't heard if they have yet. So Hermann did great at Houston but hasn't turned Texas around in 1 year.

If nothing else I'm glad we're at least going to get a change; couldn't take any more of the Butchisms & idiot play calls. :thud:

Maybe recuit running backs and make them linebackers like Chavis and Fulmer did, A teams linebackers are the real team leaders. Fast linebackers are hard to defend. Westmoreland,Moore, Thompson, Wilson ect....

Not with a good hire. We should have enough talent on the team to win some games with some development and discipline.

We are in for a rough road ahead... 3-4 years to get it fixed. 3* with heart will be asked to lay the new foundation.
