Regardless of who the new coach is, can't we all agree that they will do a much better job than what we currently have? If it isn't Gruden, there are plenty of viable candidates who would love the opportunity to work with the talent we have and the facilities surrounding them. Next year should be a big step up for our program. Can't get any worse unless we retain Dooley and Sal.

Dooley is not the answer, but I wouldn't say it can't get any worse with someone else. We can't just get another warm body that's an unproven up and comer. If we don't hire a big name, it could actually get much much worse with the offense, recruiting, and fan attendance. The offense is ranked #1 in the SEC and we could lose the big three to the NFL. Must have a big name to bring the fanbase together, improve, and for recruiting.

I have been advocating ABD (anybody but Dooley) but, in reality, I believe that without a hire that would provide a "splash," then we will continue to be mid pack in the SEC for the next 3-5 years.
