No matter what happens

No there won't be. This is about the dumbest crap I've heard on here today. Go stick your head in some cold water and uncross your eyeballs.

Did you watch the same game I did, old man? Bobby Hill cost the Vols a winnable game boasting a formidable roster. Love to see the yokels acting as if that isn’t the case, though.

I'm at least a guaranteed 10 years younger than you lmao. "Bobby Hill" brought this program back from the dead in 2 years, and we've stayed relevant ever since. Morons like you would run him off and wheel around saying gO gET gRuDEn. Some of y'all need to wake up and recognize what we have here.

Oh, my apologies, I assumed that you just seemed slow due to your age. I guess it’s just a “born with it” thing. My bad!

No one mentioned Gruden but you. What I saw today was a competitive team hamstrung by poor play calling. Heupel has done a great job rejuvenating the spirit, but this program is bigger than one coach. If he can’t find a way to the playoffs this year, my point stands.

Charmin-soft attempt at a comeback. You need work.

This team went 3-7 and was sanctioned by the NCAA before he got here. We've been ranked and relevant and having double digit win seasons since then BECAUSE of what he's brought here. Goofs like you are the reason this fanbase catches so much hell, and not a single one of em with your mindset has the stones to say any of that to anyone's face.

We need a clown flair tag in this server something serious.

Couldn't agree more about Heupel. What he's done in a few years in nothing short of miraculous. Today's loss stings bad but he's built a program competitive in the toughest conference in football while starting out with a dumpster fire.

No one disputes that Heupel did a better job than most of the recent coaches. The question becomes whether or not Heupel is the one to elevate the program and bring it to its established potential. We see what happened when UGA fired Richt, let’s not wait a decade to see Heupel do pretty good but flail when it comes to making it to the promised land.

If you have trouble comprehending this, perhaps there’s a Pellissippi “the big school” subforum that’s more suited to simpletons like yourself.

What do you mean he's "done better than most of the recent coaches" LOL who was better? Butch? Pruitt? Dooley? Each time you respond, it's DUMBER. How is that possible?

So you don't want to wait to get rid of him. Who do you want?

Fulmer is prettty recent, but I’m sure you were in rehab or jail for that era so I’ll excuse the ignorance.

Again, and I say this as someone who fully judges you for your lot in life, I never said it’s time to replace Heupel. I said that, and I quote (new word for you), “there are going to be calls for change” if he can’t beat Alabama/Florida.

Fulmer was almost 20 years ago.
So, back to square one then. That's a moronic take. Nobody is calling for the coach's head.

That is not a question to anyone with sense.. Its quite obvious he can elevate the program because he is doing it and is still in the process of elevating it more.. have you been following the recruiting class? When is the last time UT was the team flipping big names from SEC schools instead of the other way around? Yeah, we have had a big flip here and there over the years but he has consistently brought a big flip or two nearly every year hes been here. Transfers.. they almost all work out.

A UT team picked to be 9th in the SEC just took a top 5 team to the wire. We didn't drop in the polls... that's because this program, HIS program, has earned that respect. Plus a bunch of top 15 teams lost... I've been a UT fan since I was aware of college football in the 80's I have seen all the ups and downs. From Johnny Majors to Fulmer to the years we all wanna forget till now. We spent 15 years in the desert....UT has been more relevant the past 4 years than it has at any other point in my lifetime. We are the good guys.

UT is in really good shape for years to come. It is amazing what this team is doing after the talent we lost in the portal and draft and might end up a better team overall than last season. All signs point to it if we can get healthy. We have guys represented in the NFL. He is developing players. WE have DEPTH....and are developing players and pipelines. Guys we didnt appreciate as players are showing up in the NFL
