Don't think so, I seem to remember this coming up in the late 80's early 90's. Back in the day before ridiculous fine print when companies did rewards coupons. I can't remember who it was (Pepsi point, camel cash, or Marlboro miles) advertised as a joke for something like 50,000,000 points you could buy a F16.It was never ment as a serious offer, but they didn't say it wasn't either. What ever company it was allowed you to pay cash for points if you were a few short, something like .05 per. Some millionaire went to them and offered them the cash value for the obscene amount of points and demanded the jet. I remember the federal government has to step in and let the company of the hook, by saying it was illegal to sell the f16 to a civilian. Something about the sale of t/s tech to non military buyer being illegal. That's why you see the older warbirds in private collections (everything onboard declassified) but not current stuff.
