The MAGA faithful (and there are dozens of them on this forum) are wildly insecure, Trump is their binky. Trump gave them a scapegoat - immigrants, trans people, elites, etc. - to blame for their miserable lives so they don't have to look in the mirror. They simply do as they are told. It's pathetic.
