He probably would have been a great player, I hate we lost him. You win some you lose some. The key is to win your fair share of the good ones.

He is one of my favorite players we have signed this year

Sorry, Voltastic, we haven't signed anyone yet; signing day isn't until February.

probably would not have gotten Luc anyway. If Monte couldn't get him here then I doubt he would have come. I mean Gran is his recruiter but he is playing more under Monte and Lance. Good luck to Luc and as long as FL doesn't get them or AL I can handle the loss

Last year when Tommy T. was shown the door at Auburn, there were rumblings on the Tiger message boards about which assistants should be retained by the new man. Gran was loved as a recruiter, but not as a coach. The repeated line was Cadilac Williams and Ronnie Brown would make any coach look good, and the AU special teams were not very productive.

This was before he left, so I don't think it was sour grapes.

Chris Donald is going to be a beast!

Yeah, I was thinking that too. Sometimes those can't-miss guys - miss. I would certainly take my chances with Luc, but does anyone remember Leotis Burton??? What a prospect!

Honest question for you guys. How do you think the lose of some of your coordinators will pan out. Do you have other coaches that you think will step in easily? I know that we are commonly worried about Bud Foster being taken away before a bowl and wondering who would step in a cover for him.
