How dare a team with a much better record get more praise than a team with 9 losses!

The rankings are meaningless right now, the committee could care less what our ranking might be.. But, we have won 7 of our last 8 games now. And 3 of those losses came without Lofton in the lineup.. As of now, we are one of the 25's best teams whether ESPN or the AP says so. And as for Memphis, playing in CUSA has its benifets. After watching them struggle with UTEP, and seeing them beat a mediocre Gonzaga by one, they havn't shown me top 5 material yet.. I'll make that decision once I see them in the first few rounds.. (By the way, we drilled Memphis by 18 this year)

Sure did. I agree. That whole 'what have you done for me lately' will help as well as rpi and sos. Let's just hope that we can eke out a couple wins in the SEC tourney.

You really think that ESPN hates UT. They love Pearl. They spent like half a sportscenter and an entire programming day after he painted his chest. We led sportscenter when we beat FL. They put us in their primetime slot with Dick Vitale for our game at home with Fl. I think we get plenty of due respect from ESPN in bball.

political bias...for memphis? i live in memphis and that will never happen.

why not complain about duke 22-9 and 8-8 in their conference being ranked and the vols not being ranked. duke didnt beat anybody as good as memphis or florida. that is REAL political bias.

Anyone half decent would do great in c-usa.....hamilton,Ridgeway & White station high all of memphis would be near the top of that pathetic horse crap of a conference called c-usa...it is a joke along with all the teams in it!
