As I watch all of these football games, I see offenses putting in plays that you haven’t seen all year. Miami just ran a fake QB draw where the back slips out for a pass for a touchdown. Beautifully executed.

I watched Texas run some plays that you know were different wrinkles. Since 2022, we haven’t been creative, like the play we ran to get the 2 point conversion against Alabama to Fant. The next year we did several shuffle passes that worked. This year? There was nothing that I saw that made me think “oh wow, nobody saw that coming”. Heupel needs to start watching new trends or the game is going to pass him by.

Kinda miss the old days when we ran WR screens after WR screens and would pop a WR screen to another WR on a fly route.
Yeah nobody said we should be doing that either but you’re fooling yourself if you think we were productive enough on offense against good opponents. Alabama 20 points won’t get it especially since the aren’t the dominant team they’ve been.
