I am on here all the time. The reason for this thread is because of the complainers. I just didn't want to hear it after today. I've complained myself but today was not that day.

I personally didn't see too much complaining in yesterdays' game thread. I for one wasn't posting as much as usual because it was quite enjoyable to watch TN take care of business like days of ole. There will always be some that are critical, to include me but most are rational enough to criticize when it is duly justified. The whole team played pretty solid yesterday. After watching the UGA game last night, I do hope to see our D-line hopefully get a little more pressure next week. I think the Mizzou scheme didn't allow as much as I would have liked to see yesterday but that is football for you.

How is our talent not on par? Please explain this to me because I just do not see it. NFL offensive line and people think we are not ready to compete blows my mind. We are lightyears ahead of last year. We are elite and no one wants to enjoy it because of BVS!

We are not elite lol we are close but not their yet.

We have a great Oline so does Georgia
Georgia has the #1 defense and after last night their defense is at least a step above everyone else's.

We have a better QB than georgia

Georgia has better running backs like always if you disagree then we can probably agree at best they are the same slight edge to Georgia

Wr and tight ends go to Georgia.

Our defense will need to play their ass off to help keep this close and give us a chance vs them.

JG needs to be perfect to pull the upset.

The record is almost even, but the trend in recent history (since 2015) is definitely favorable to UT.

They have to be just as perfect to beat the Vols, that's how it works when elite meets. If we win the turnover margin then Vols will be in position to win.

We beat missouri by 23 pts on Saturday. Tennessee went out and controlled Saturday's game. The Vols have beaten the two teams they were suppose to beat USCe and Missouri. Now we are going to Athens and play Georgia. This is the next step to find out where our program really is- competing and defeating some of the big boys. For us to move up further we have to knock the big boys down in the east- ga and fla. Not drinking the orange koolaid yet and like Pruitt's attitude toward the situation. No fear - it is why you do what you do. Playing on cbs vs georgia for sec east control. Go Vols!!! give your best Saturday.

We had zero turnovers, and our QB played well. This gave us a comfortable win. If we can get that again, we should be able to have a competitive game.

I think we are a good team now, but based on what we have seen to this point, it is hard to say that we are on the UGA, FL, or Bama level. Unfortunately, all 3 are on our schedule. If we can mange to take one or two of those, and not lose to a lesser team, we should be happy.

No reason to complain, based on where we were a couple years ago. I think the beginning of last year was simply growing pains.

What exactly have we seen this year that makes you say this? We’re right there with them in pretty much every statistical category, and we have a common opponent with both Alabama and Florida with similar results. Florida beat South Carolina by a larger margin, but some of that can be attributed to home field advantage. I think we all underestimated South Carolina coming into the season, to be honest, as much as it pains me to say that.

I am not looking at statistics, primarily. We just don't seem like a dominating team. We won fairly easily this week, but as I said, that was without any turnovers. We were the better team, but we had to go for it on 4th down four times, I believe.

This team will have plenty of opportunities to prove me wrong. I have not seen much from other teams this season. So, my analysis is based on what I have seen of us, and more a projection of what I expect from our opponnets, based on scores this year, and last year's final standings.
