There are more UT fans that can't afford to purchase tickets to our home games, than people in the stadium-fact. I've tried to give tickets to guys in the past, that could not afford to make the drive/hotel/meals etc., does this make them a bad fan or a bad person? We can't blame one guy, but currie/butch are two that really come to mind. There are also far too many idiots-the man crush class of fans, these fools could see the emperors new clothes

Have you ever once been on other message boards? Do you think Tennessee fans are so out of touch and rabid compared to other fans?

Hell - how quickly we forget that Alabama went through 10 years of losing and their fans were about to lose their friggin minds trying to find a coach "worthy" of Alabama.

So I for one make no apologies for voicing my disdain for the choice of Schiano. If we are going to "settle" for a Schiano then why not get Cutcliffe or Tee Martin first.

I'd rather settle for a coach that has Tennessee ties than to settle for some guy that went 500 at Rutgers, got ran out of Tampa Bay, and who was indicted, under oath, of looking the other way regarding molestation crimes.

I disagree, many coaches look at the situation as an opportunity to be a hero.

Things might be bleak right now but we have all the resources, we recruit well, SEC, Top5 Stadium, Top practice facilities, great location, etc.

The only thing missing is leadership and coaching proficiency.

I am so tired of people like you calling out ALL Vol fans for what only a few did.

There are hundreds of thousands of Vol fans......maybe a few hundred took to social media saying he was a pedophile enabler, held signs saying that or did anything remotely like that.

Now people like yourself and the media are trying to crucify ALL Vol fans for what a very few did.

Most of us did not think he was the man with the highest character, didn't want him or didn't like him.......but most of us had NOTHING to do with what you are talking about.

I am still a PROUD Vol fan and while I was told by Currie he was looking for someone of the highest integrity I was shocked because Greg was not that guy............he was called by many in the NFL and by some coaches a dirty coach........and demanded players do dirty things......which is not "the highest integrity."

Screw you and people like you for trying to put this on all of us.......when everyone knows it was only the few who did anything wrong......while the rest of us simply didn't want him for one reason or the other.
