Leaving for your dream program is one thing, but effectively setting fire to the building as you going out the door is another.

I get taking the job.
I get taking the coaches.
The recruits, not so much, but some of those kids were only coming for the coaches. That's what we all sold to them. 'Come to UT for the great NFL coaches!' Man that sucks. The rats shouldn't push them to transfer, which they did, but some of those kids would come anyway.
But calling Bryce Brown and who knows who else and trying to get them to transfer? That's just too low, for the program and the kids. It is definitely not in these kids best interest to sit out a year only to ride the bench for 2 more, if they even see the field. If they are good enough to start at USC as redshirt Sophs, they are good enough to go pro in two more years here and be a lottery pick like EB.
This puts a large stain on Monte's rep, which I'm surprised he's allowing. Maybe Lane gets it from him after all, but old age has let Monte learn to fake humanity.
Lane's and O's recruiting will eventually be damaged by the lack of integrity, I hope. Then again, you never know. Having the SEC and UT in particular hating his guts sort of fits his style. But one thing for sure, hiring a loose-mouthed 'richardhead' like Lane is NOT going to help USC avoid sanctions. Those guys are scum.

We stuck by our coach when everyone else hated him. What would you have done? The same thing.
Now, he burns us, and we are gonna talk all the sh$t that we want to about him!!
