No Bowl= Loss of Valuable Practice

Say we don't blow the UCLA game or fumble away the Auburn game, CPF isn't fired after South Carolina game, and we beat Wyoming. We're 8-4 and bowling...

...and stuck with CPF for at least another year, probably with another raise and extension.

From what I understand, his most recent contract rolled over automatically if he won eight games. He very easily could have done so, with any luck at all.

and they would be practicing Clawson's offense and Chavis' D.. what good does that do us?

With Kiffin coming in we gained an extra month of recruiting where he can hit the road and recruit his ass off.

Fulmer and the last staff still being here coaching a toilet bowl would be the worst thing possible for the future of the Vols.

This pretty much reflects my thinking too. Missing the bowl actually has given us an opportunity to get things moving in the new direction. This will be of more benefit to the future of this program.
