No announcement this morning, Dooley Recruiting in Atlanta

Guys,
As some of you know, we live in Dunwoody and are friends with Justin King. Justin called my sons this morning because Coach Dooley is in town and he wanted to introduce my boys to the coach. My son Cameron just got accepted into Engineering School at UTK, so we have ANOTHER Vol Engineer in the family.

So, there shouldn't be any announcements this morning on hirings of Shannon (Fingers Crossed), or Steele (gee i hope not).

Dooley is on a recruiting trip -- i'm headed over to the school to say HI to the coach.

Congrats to your son and thanks for the info. Maybe the announcement will happen later tonight after CDD returns. :crossfingers:

Thanks for the info. And more importantly, congrats to your son! I bet he's a fine young man, a product of some great parenting.
Happy New Year to you and if you would please extend the same sentiments to Coach. 'Cause if anyone is in need of a good year, he's certainly it. . .

Uh, i think he's the product of some great GOD-PARENTING.

ha ha-- for those who don't know -- FernandoMike is my son's GodFather...

Well, maybe this is good news.

Consider:
If Dooley were waiting until after the Orange Bowl to announce Steele, and he's out recruiting, maybe Steele was not/is not the guy. I dunno. :pardon:

One can only hope he's not.

As to why he would leave Clemson to come to UT ... well, I'm pretty sure he looses 3 of his front 4 next year, which will probably make a bad defense worse ... just sayin'.
