I agree partially with the doubters if the injury bug hits us. We have more talent than most of you think evidently. The strength/conditioning factor should be in our favor and the meshing of the staff and players is an intangible that only time will tell the outcome. We can beat anybody on the schedule. Will we beat all of them - not likely even in our dreams, but we had the NC team beaten if Lincoln had been honest with the coaches about his injury. So anything is possible on a given Saturday! GBO!

Top 10? Hate to say it but thats just really far fetched. But IF we went 3-0 we could jump to the top 25 I believe. GBO

Oregon and Florida will be rated in the top 10. If we beat them both how could we not be in the top 10? If we win the first three we could easily win the next three and be undefeated and ranked second when Bama comes to town. If we win the first three...we have UAB, then LSU which is a toss-up game because of Miles and their QB situation...then UGA at Athens where we can win and with Dooley coming to town it will really put the pressure on the Dawgs to do good...:good!:

hopefully by the end of the florida game we will be in the top 10.i know it's a long shot but what if we were 3 and 0 after florida how do you think we will jump?

I Would love to see that, but even without "superman Tebow", I think Florida beats us. I bleed orange like every other VOL fan but I think it will take a couple of years to become competitive with the SEC elite. I hope Dooley is the answer and I hope our fans and A.D. give him the time he needs to build a great program and reqruit good teams. If we are competing for an SEC champ. in 3 or 4 years then we have a winner as a coach and hopefully he is more faithful to his commitments than the last coach we hired......Go Big Orange! Go Vols!

Florida's new QB may come it and throw 6 interceptions.......who knows......they dont scare me...........tebow will be a bigger lose that people think! Just sayin!

I thought Tebow was always worth an extra win at Florida, and they never went undefeated.

We'll see. I'm anxious to see if Meyer reaches LEGENDARY status with his current health problems and no one to run the "Tebow Package."

He may. He may not. The talent in his region is just mind-boggling, no doubt there.

We're ranked higher than UAB (114), Memphis (110), Vanderbilt (89) and Kentucky (52)! Including UT-Martin, that's basically five guaranteed wins!
