hopefully by the end of the florida game we will be in the top 10.i know it's a long shot but what if we were 3 and 0 after florida how do you think we will jump?

Top 10? Hate to say it but thats just really far fetched. But IF we went 3-0 we could jump to the top 25 I believe. GBO

If that were to happen, we would be in the top 15, but it's not going to happen. At best we'll be 2-1 (slim shot against Oregon) and still not in the top 25.

We probably will be 1-2 after those three games. The real test is the stretch of UAB, LSU, and UGA. We definitely have a shot at winning all three of those games, but playing on the road in consecutive weeks will be very tough on some of the younger guys. CDD is really going to have to keep people focused and motivated. Leadership will be a big factor in those games. If we came out of all that 3-3 , that would be pretty solid as far as I'm concerned.

If we start out 2-1, I'll be very pleased and everyone else should be too. Rebuilding is more about wins than early and mid-season rankings. No one cares how you start.

It's about where we'll end up....I see nothing wrong with that ranking....obviously I'd like it to be higher but you have to understand it's our 3rd coach in as many seasons.....7 wins would be good this year

Why is everyone so sure we will lose to a tebowless florida? I think we are highly underrated which is really good for us historically!

Because Florida's 1st string talent is still better than ours and their depth is way better than ours right now.

Because Tebow is the difference between UF being a national title contender and just being a BCS bowl contender, not the difference between them being a national title contender and being average. Florida has players all over its offense and defense who are All-American candidates. They could just line up, run it down our throats all game long and probably beat us right now.

The only way we beat Florida is if they beat themselves.

Florida's new QB may come it and throw 6 interceptions.......who knows......they dont scare me...........tebow will be a bigger lose that people think! Just sayin!

bowl game? yes, we have a shot, but 7 wins is about as high as we'll go imo

we probably won't beat Bama, UF, and Oregon (0-3)

we should beat UTM, UAB, Memphis, Vandy, and UK...that's 5 very winnable games for us right there (5-3)

we have a relatively good shot against UGA, USCe, and Ole Miss...LSU could be in that group too (7-5????)

we just have waaaaay too many questions on offense right now to predict any of the later games imo...a lot of young guys have got to be ready, and be good throughout an entire season

Football is game of skill, strategy, intangible factors and luck. Memphis beat a superior Tennessee team once. The NY Giants in the Super Bowl with the Patriots, despite that great defense had no business winning but did. When you look at Eli's escape from the charging Pat defense, it just seems too improbable. Then that Giants receiver hanging onto a ball the the laws motion and inertia dictates should have escaped his grasp. You got to wonder. But then again, I once parked at a Vons grocery store ( a franchise out West), got out of the car then decided to park slightly farther away but more of a straight line to the store entrance. Upon exiting the car again, I stepped on a money clip that held three $100 bills. So who's to say a Vanko energy whip or not we won't skin some gators and make gator skin power T's out of them?

Top 25 for sure,With a win over Oregon I think we get as far as 30.

Seriously, though, we want even be able to sniff 49 on November 1. We might get back to that by the end of the season, but who, outside UT fans will even notice.
