I'm on mobile, can't see which team you root for. I was just adding that Cards earned their spot and this NLCS title. Braves gave the playoff spot but didn't get them to where they are now.

There's not one; not really a fan of any specific major league baseball team honestly


the comment wasn't supposed to come across as someone saying "oh yeah (or a "crying/lamented oh"), well the Cardinals wouldn't have made it this far if the braves hadn't screwed up to let them it" (which I'm trying to figure out if that's what you thought I was doing)




they got where they are because they've been playing well; that was never questioned




....the joke was...calculon might be correct as it being more akin to a knife twist (like if 2007, Kentucky had beaten TN [on some bonehead play or mistake nonetheless], UGA went on to beat LSU in the SEC championship, and then a few days before the year's BCS game, the UT athletic department got a muffin basket with a "thanks, couldn't have done it without you" card....might be closer to a thanks chumps type of response)




but yeah....this carried on much longer than the joke was intended to. Let's move on

If this were the Rays sending the Red Sox a fruit basket, you'd have a point, because the Rays mere presence in the post season was pure luck for them. The Cards at least went on a crazy run for the month prior.

I still don't like the Wild Card playoff spot, and knowing my luck this month, the Rangers will get beat a second year in a row, this time by a wild card. But it is what it is.

No. Southeast Iowa. Both Chicago and St. Louis are about 4 hours away. Everyone here loves one or the other. 1 Astros fan and... won't even guess a number. Everyone else cheers for the Cubs or Cardinals. I hate them both. So at least we have one thing in common... I hate the Cubs. Loveable losers my ass. I love when they lose

Yeah... the only garbage aired here is Packers, Bears, Vikings, Chiefs, Rams, Cardinals, Cubs and Bulls. I know tons of Cardinals fans and your comments coincide with my opinion. All I've gathered from your response is that you're bias. You think your favorite team has the best fans. You think everyone that's been a part of the organization believes it's the best. Albert hasn't grown twice in size! Is he bigger now than right out of college? Of course he is, we all are.

But until 2 years ago he was a little big in the gut area. An injury and pressure from TL and trainers made him get into better shape. But he still isn't a huge dude.
And as far as balding at an early age, how old do you think he is anyway? And like most Latino players he's probably 5 years older than what's publicized.
