The battle of the beer. Rematch of the '82 World Series, which I remember watching as a young Cardinals fan with my dad.

Probably because you are more worried about the names on the jersey rather than the product on the field. There's all kinds of interesting things happening in this series, much more so than the relatively uninteresting ALCS.

Speaking of which, I hope the Brewers stick it to those holier-than-thou arrogant douches. I'm tired of listening to LaRussa and other Cardinal players whining about the behavior of Milwaukee players. They aren't exactly angels.

I do wonder how long it will be before LaRussa invents some type of slight by the Brewers. I'm guessing about 3 1/3 innings.

I almost enjoy them losing as much as I enjoy the Astros winning.

Living near St. Louis, I can tell you that the fans are awful. Which is surprising since most of them are cool on this site. Minus you... kidding, maybe. :p

No. Southeast Iowa. Both Chicago and St. Louis are about 4 hours away. Everyone here loves one or the other. 1 Astros fan and... won't even guess a number. Everyone else cheers for the Cubs or Cardinals. I hate them both. So at least we have one thing in common... I hate the Cubs. Loveable losers my ass. I love when they lose

I'll add... outside of Prince Fielder, Brewers are the loveable losers of the NL Central.
