Imo a lot of LBs are liabilities in pass coverage these days with how offenses work. But you're right, he, along with all of our LBs graded out terribly in pass coverage. Going back to Bituli. I was shocked every year when I saw how poorly they were graded with "guru" Pruitt.

That said, they were also very good at run defense.

We will see how this staff does, but I have faith Hype understands what LBs need to do in pass coverage, as well as learning from Odom, who regularly had the best pass coverage LBs in the SEC at Mizzou.

Can't get much worse. Pruitt was OBSESSED with stopping the run, at the expense at everything else. The same way he let the regurgitated ole "the team that wins the turnover battle wins the game 80% of the time" influence his entire offensive gameplan, I believe he also let the outdated ole CBS stats of "whoever runs the ball for more yards has won the UT/UF game 14 of the last 16 years" garbage.

Recruiting is fluid. Kids change their minds all the time. That’s why I find it hilarious when people knock Price and Hubbs. They go off of information they get at the time. No more no less.
