I’m not picking at Peabodys at all. Idk if he’s legit and I mostly don’t care. The only ones I would bet money on being legit is/was AtlantaVol, dascoop, and maybe one or two others who don’t immediately come to mind.

The only one I ever went hard at for being FOS was probably 2018 or so cycle, a poster who went by the name Bam Seydu or something similar to that iirc. And I only went at him because he tried to have detailed info on literally any recruit anyone asked him about that it was comical.

Oh and I definitely pissed NotoriousRPP off because we were in a group text together and he admitted he didn’t have connections anymore but at the same time would still post here like was in the know on things. Ecred is a powerful drug.

Bringing guys in for visits doesn’t always end up being a hard offer. Sometimes things work out that “we’ll be in touch” when they leave.

I agree in some instances. But this one seems pretty cut and dry. It was reported his people were looking for the biggest bag. He went to Texas for a visit. They have major coffers. Much more than us. Sign, sealed, and delivered.

Others besides Peabody were claiming we were interested and in it initially. So that checks out. I bet the staff felt good initially since we recruited him out of high school and had established relationships.

It is what it is. We as fans need to realize we are a tier below certain programs in NIL. It sucks to admit. But we don't have endless money at the moment. We can pay big for some. But have to be calculated who that goes to.

For us to genuinely compete at a championship level we have to exceed expectations on the guys we decide to pony up on. It's really the only shot we have to be in the conversation year in and year out.

We can be great if all things align. But we just have a little less margin for error than other programs right now the way the landscape is unfortunately.

I’m not saying the program has the same money as Texas but I am saying Heupel isn’t gonna spend money on guys “just looking for a bag”. That has more repercussions than just 1 guy. Let’s see how this works out for Texas after a couple more years. It didn’t work out too good for Ole Miss last year.

It’s almost like our staff evaluated him out of high school better than you and others.

It’s almost like his star rating and other offers didn’t matter to them when they made that solid evaluation.

It’s almost like there’s a lesson to be learned here. I’m certain you’ll learn it.

I missed the whining part, but I’ve come to terms with your posts being nonsensical.

I know I've asked this on far more than one occasion but why do some of you seem to care so damn much if someone has insider info or not, I've really never understood this childish need to attack someone for no reason. I guess somehow it diminishes you in some way. Just what the country has become I guess.

Why? Maybe the info was good when he heard it, thought he wood let us know what he heard. I'd put money on the fact UT talked to several big named QBs. This is a message board so why does he deserve the pitchforks. Maybe you deserve them or I deserve them. Or maybe no one does he's just a messenger on a message board. Have a great day and be happy we have a few great coaches at UT that make these very important educated decisions..
