NIU Game Predictions

Crompton starts. We struggle on offense early. NIU gets an early lead of 3-0. Stephens comes in and we end up doing some better.

Vols win an ugly game 24-17, in front of a crowd of 80,000 at Neyland Stadium.

What does everyone else think?

Nothing would surprise me any more....I could see us finally playing like a team. I could also see what we've been seeing happen and we get upset....I can't predict anything this year.

are we going to have to win convincingly to quiet a lot of the people who are concerned about this season? I know its just NIU, but if we beat them bad and start looking good, will there be a more optimistic view of the rest of the season?? I'll hang up and listen to your answer.

I actually read his lips during the Auburn game say that :birgits_giggle:and at the time i felt it might have not been his fault but why even say that?c'mon he's a big boy so all i can say is Mr.Crompton don't stay on the porch if you can't play with the big dogs .......my prediction it's gonna be ugly we'll pull it out in the 4th qtr.and everyone will extoll how "incrompotent"pulled us from the jaws of defeat

crompton plays the 1st quarter and we get a field goal, while NIU puts a 10 spot on the board. The boos get so loud that Fulmer hugs crompton close to his busom to drown them out. He then puts in Stephens and he ties it up at half. NIU take another 7 point lead into the 4th until the offense breaks off 2 big plays and the defense gets a key turnover.
