Women who "have a pair" (meaning capable and self confident) aren't threatened by anyone. Nor are men who are accomplished and self confident. It's the "wanna be's" who feel threatened by others' success.
Women have been in the shadows of men since time began. As recent as 1945 a quote, well known to all, ...“Behind every great man is a strong woman.” was uttered publicly by Meryll Frost, the star quarterback for the 1945 Dartmouth Football team.

As recent as two years ago the WNBA was an also ran BB league,,,pitifully funded by its male counterpart the NBA.

I personally experienced a "woman with a pair" at an arena,,,I held the door open for her and she said "You don't have to hold the door for me bc I am a woman"...I told her "I didn't,,,I held it for you bc I am a man"

I respect the Alpha woman, as I have trained many and seen them sprout wings and fly...But I truly respect the Alpha woman who maintains her femininity like Pat Summitt did,,,Truly a woman with a pair, who was,,A woman,, feminine ,,self confident and ultra capable!

Remember part of the NIL endorsement by casual fans was because of stories like Arian Foster (and teammates) being hungry and a coach providing a bag of tacos. Arian was well compensated at Tennessee, he just didn’t want to buy his own Tacos. Which is just one example of why we are here today.

Playing victim in the media while profiting.

from article on TCU giving a walk-on a full scholarship. posting only re cost.

The sophomore guard from Granbury, Texas, about 40 miles from Fort Worth, bypassed small-school scholarship offers to study nursing at TCU, then upended her life and class schedule to join the team. TCU estimates annual cost of attendance at $82,310. times 4 = 320K no wonder student loans have become a debt that few can retire given existing salaries. NIL definitely for that young woman

I really am only curious on the importance of winning via being able to purchase the best 18-22 year olds.

the CBS article re the University of Michigan wants a $250 M war chest re NIL. "Right now look at the numbers, it's $20, $23, $25 million rosters," said Cardale Jones, the co-founder and general manager of THE Foundation, a NIL collective supporting Ohio State. Assume power men's basketball rosters are 1/3 or $7M which could be low for some teams.
Trickle down to Women - LSU , Texas , at the top. Unless the WNBA increases salaries few top college players will declare for the draft prior to completing all their eligibility and NIL support.
