The Adidas jerseys were cool through the 2009 season, then Adidas started trying to add little cute nuances here and there, that eventually resulted in the vented tire-mark jerseys. What a crock.

@wesrucker247: #Vols will have mix/match options with new Nike unis, but don’t expect them to try to be Oregon. That won’t fly here. They know that.

Or is rucker just talking out of his ***

This is huge. The things Nike has been doing with unis is impressive and now the greatest fan base of all time is about to get a taste of it. I never even put any thought in what the VOLS will be wearing......orange / white.... Home/away..... Never gave much thought about what I will wear to the game. Now it just more to it...... Which games to Checker Board, should I yell on 1st down or wait for 3rd down? I say go bananas

One reason is because their fan gear is far superior to Adidas. It's not even close.

Has anyone thought that maybe the "two tone" gray isn't actually two tone and it's just due to the poor lighting on the picture? I mean it almost looks as if the torso was lit with a flash on a iPhone camera. Regardless, I think the uniforms are top notch and Nike has served us well.
