This is not a photoshop creation. It's the real deal. If it was photoshopped, the lighting reflection of the soft box would have not been in the image.. Not saying it isn't a mountain, but I can't look past the lighting flaw.

I see what your saying. The mountain pattern centrally seems to be there. But we probably aren't getting an accurate picture due to the reflection. The more I look at it the more I see box now. I guess we will find out tomorrow.

The T and stripe don't appear to be reflective material. We will see tomorrow. I'm not arguing it is or isn't mountains, but that is overhead lighting and not a photoshopped creation.

Yep, easy to see what you want to see. When I first was checking the image out.. I was looking at the mountains. I even showed my wife.. Then that soft box jumped at me.. Now all I see is that light lol.

I understand that football is our main sport, but Pat and the women's team has been more consistently successful than our football team ever has. We have now taken that originality and blended it into a less identifiable brand (than the lady vols logo) by removing that. We have not rebranded the girls teams, we have un-branded them.

As for the boys uniforms, I'm not terribly upset with anything but the checkerboards. It would have been nice to put all the gimmicky stuff on to an alternate (which is what alternates are for) and kept the typical orange and white traditional uniforms simple.

It is the smokey mountains. Nike made the push to incorporate it and the school decided to go with it.

Per deer park. This is not "lighting" it IS the smokey mountings. The dude has seen them.

His quote was:

They pushed that subtle helmet design hard. I like it."

1) Got to keep the power T in ORANGE on the helmets. Helmet color white gray chrome black I can live with. I like the idea of a matte finish.
2) I like Checker Board....stripe the pants or the helmet.
3) The gloves and the cleates need to look good.....but there is a performance issue involved with them.
GO VOLS!

I know better than to dispute Deerpark. But it's hard to unsee the light box once you see it. I'm sure there is a mountain pattern there. I bet it will be more subtle when we actually get to see it in hd though.

Having Tennessee across the front is less recognizable in women's basketball than having the lady vols logo. Obviously the power t is an easily recognized logo unless you leave the southeast. I just did a three week national park tour with my power T flag and got "hook em horns" in a lot of places outside of my normal stomping grounds.

The guy on the video stated it was mountains. I still have the dang light box in my head when I see that image. I can't wait to see the high resolution ones tomorrow.

I didn't notice the mountains before....I've waited years for Nike to get our uniforms ..This is the best they can do is mountains on a helmet....Why not smokey himself or Davey..But mountains really....I've bought both smokey grey jerseys and the black we had but that alternate is ugly and to top it off the helmet has mountains...Sorry guys not be negative but man I'm 34 and waited for 10 years and we get mountains... Maybe tomorrow I will love them....Either way I look forward to buying a lot of Nike stuff just not that alternate but hey next year will be a different one so no biggie..Do like the home Jersey and what I could see of the away...My Adidas jerseys wore out fast,but bought a berry cheifs Nike jersey and it still looks brand new and got it the year Nike to over NFL..Those old Reebok jerseys didn't last even a year..

This is just silly. The Lady Vols have always worn "Tennessee" across their chests. Nobody outside of East Tennessee (and maybe in Storrs, Conn.) has any idea that an independent Lady Vols logo exists. All they're doing is consolidating everything under the more recognizable branding, which is something that every marketing student in the country would say needs to be done.

UT's confusion with Texas logos has been an ongoing problem for decades, and it wouldn't shock me to see Nike eventually try to get us to change our logo to try to mitigate it. (I say this as a Braves fan who has watched his baseball team rather helplessly lose their classic "A" logo to the red team to the west, and who are having to bring in a different logo with a tomahawk as a result.)

The more I think about it I think these are concept uniforms. I think we will release something probably similar to it tomorrow but not those. I'm going on record saying this THOSE ARE NOT REAL

This one's coming back too. Seems pretty clear that the Braves are fully aware that Alabama's stepping all over their brand recognition these days.

I personally have had to switch over to a cap with the new logo because I got sick of having people assuming that my old one was an Alabama cap. And I live in Atlanta!

For the non big and tall they fit like crap though. I bought a medium adidas Climalite tee last year that fit like an extra large would. I'm looking forward to what Nike will do with the fan apparel (hopefully we get a dri-fit touch hoodie with the Power T).

DP has confirmed these plus has also confirmed that there is a grey transition on the helmet. So that is not just lighting.

Re watch the swoosh video and you will see that the smokey grey we will see tomm is not that weird black and silver thing unless we have 2 sets. It's clear in 2 glimpses We are going to have a jersey similar to our Adidias smokey grey jersey. That black and silver is nothing like what is teased in the video
