This is a spin on AaronVol's thread picking attributes of the ultimate coach. Instead list the worst coaches to fit these criteria. Here's mine.



1. x and o's- Tommy Bowden
2. recruiting- Bobby Collins(SMU)
3. intensity- Mack Brown
4. public figure- Gary Barnett
5. pre-game and halftime speeches- Larry Coker
6. value system- Nick Saban/Bobby Petrino

That was going to be my first pick but I decided that Bowden at Clemson did less with more.

I was going down the road earlier today and heard a tease about Dennis Franchione getting back into college football . . . I spent 2 minutes during the commercial break saying "Please, God, no".

The worst "speach giver" has got to be that guy at Clemson. I don't think the O.J. Simpson jury believed him when he told his team he'd take them over anybody that one game.
