Night before Candy thread

Arch Manning is so bad, that when he's good, he's bad. Wingo had to make a circus catch after an ugly throw, he was wiide open!

Why he didn't just throw the ball on a line there is beyond me. The guy was wide open with nobody within 10 yards

Arch trying to put "air" on the ball with his momentum going forward is what caused the overthrow.

Rip it and be done

Gotta say that watching Texas play tonight and knowing Vandy played the socks off those guys makes me very, very worried for tomorrow night. Got a feeling we might be in trouble tomorrow.

We CANNOT do what we did last year and come out and let them put us down early.

I believe they got up on us 14-0 last year before we came back IIRC? I'm not so sure this years team can do that

The opposite situation needs to be true. We simply need to come out and smoke them. Shock and awe. Empty the playbook.

We roll out and repeat the first half of the UF game and they will give up just like the Gators

We have to overcome our 2nd qtr doldrums and put two qtrs in a row together if we expect Vandy to fold like Florida did.

In the post game thread from the Vandy boards last year, I remember there was some sort of comment from one of their "fans" about that our game was the first one of the season where they had been physically manhandled.

I would assume that is the case again this year as I haven't really seen anyone pushing the Commodores around this year

I will admit that candy is a tough, gritty team.

The thing about teams like that is that when they are completely overwhelmed they usually have issues responding Fighting back is usually the only tool at their disposal and when it is made clear that even this is pointless, things usually go pretty quickly.

Basically we have to smack them in the mouth-and then keep smacking until they get the point.

If we let them hang with us, then I agree-we may be in trouble

you can put lipstick on that pig if you want.

nice setup btw. wish I had a wall mount with internal wiring like that. Ours is mounted above the fireplace.

Have a smaller bose sound bar, got with rewards as work.

We all know if the Dad had his way, itd be a Klipsch sound bar😆

Thanks! I wish I could wire everything in, but I didn’t build the place. Bluetooth, WiFi, and Amazon Fire products across the board.

I’ll have to upgrade this 2.0 soundbar I’ve had since ‘18. This Fire TV seems to require 3.1 or better.

Voices get REALLY muddy after about an hour regardless of what audio settings I use.

When I upgraded to the 65", I got a kit that you put two boxes with clips in the wall. One behind the TV mount and one down the wall next to the electric outlet. Comes with a fish tape for you to pull HDMI, electric, and ethernet...only downside is you need some kind of credenza, bookshelf, hutch, etc. to hide the short jumpers from wired outlets to the new box.

Ill get pictures later...wife talked me into going to breakfast and hitting local craft vendor thing before the game.
