Nico to UCLA?

Allegedly, Nico wanted better wide receivers and offensive lineman. It was a sarcastic comment but I don't know how to use the blue font
Someone may have already posted, but here it is. See the three vertical dots next to the TT at the top of box? Click on them. See the palette on the far left of drop box? Select it. Color palette shows. Choose the one you want. 🙂

I am not convinced he ends up there. I suspect things were moving slow so in order to try to get others to join the "We want Nico" bidding wars, Papa Nic threw this UCLA commitment out, hoping schools would panic because they were about to lose Nico. If thta's true, he's lost it completely.
That’s what I said too. I agree totally.

I haven't seen Nico's offer from UCLA. Where did you see it was $1 million? If they gave the Austin Peay QB 1.3 mil, I suspect Nico probably got more.
$1.5 mill is the number I'm seeing currently being reported. I updated my post accordingly.

My point remains though that big lifestyle changes are a coming for uncle Nico.

Natural Born Samoans are exempt from Taxes.....
But this is not the case for American Samoans. As US nationals, they are not subject to worldwide taxation while living in American Samoa, or anywhere else.

Sure, if an American Samoan as a US national lives in, say, California, he or she will pay all the applicable federal and state taxes, just like any other US resident.

However, if they leave the United States, they stop being subject to IRS jurisdiction altogether. That means US nationals (who are not citizens) can have a tax-free and reporting-free life if they move to one of the many countries with no income tax, or a territorial tax.

And again, that’s a critical distinction from US citizens, who remain under Uncle Sam’s tax jurisdiction no matter where they live. This Unique Loophole Exempts 100,000 Americans from Taxes | Schiff Sovereign.

He will make significantly less at UCLA than he did here. And after taxes in LA? Yikes.

Excellent, if true, for team nico landing spot - much much less $$$, state income tax, also ran football team with no chance of any exposure or playoff hope. Good riddance.
