He had a contract to play. Who UT recruits or lands in the portal is none of his business and not a reason to break the contract. I am curious to know what his demands were before the playoff game. It will come out eventually, too big of a story.

Just for giggles I googled California's progressive tax bracket. If he makes over $721,000 he will be paying 12.3%. So that is 12.3% less of whatever less he is making.
I swear Nico and Pop is a Meme at this point. Has to be one of the dumbest decisions in the history of CFB

UCLAs OL gave up an average of 3 sacks per game was ranked 112th last season.

if he’s the starter, may want to get him about 10 yards behind center out of the shotgun.

The extra distance may help the ball proceed to a point on its trajectory where it isn't uncatchable. Bless the hearts of any <6' receivers on UCLA's 2025 squad.

So to summarize, he left a team that made the playoffs, which happens to have no state income taxes to join a team that went 5-7 last season that does have a state income tax? Taxes and gov that are so bad that people are leaving in droves to escape? This seriously should be a Netflix series
