What a bunch of clowns. It isn't about the money, yet he came across the US to get a then unheard of NIL deal. Then went talking about how he has "offers" north of 4 mil to transfer. Comes up with this "system" narrative....a system that hasn't changed since he signed. Then comes up with the WR Oline narrative. Go check out UCLA's wr production last year vs UTs. Check out their oline recruitment. Nico will be the punch line for NIL jokes for a decade due to his father's craziness. He needs to just be quiet and try not to screw up the other kids future.

Pretty sure his younger brother Madden committed to UCLA and then last second he commits to Arkansas without even taking a visit. Also didn't his dad pull Madden out of high school program one game into a season to try to enroll him into bigger high school only for him to be deemed ineligible?
Yes, all of that is true. The dad is cuckoo.

I think this is really simple...Nico's dad thought Tennessee would cave to the $4m ask. When they didn't cave, he thought another school would pay that so he left Tennessee, and he quickly found out that no other school will either. He probably didn't have any real intention of actually leaving Tennessee to begin with.

Everything he has said/done since then is trying to save face - that's all it is.

Just for giggles I googled California's progressive tax bracket. If he makes over $721,000 he will be paying 12.3%. So that is 12.3% less of whatever less he is making.
He'd be paying 12.3% on any amount over $720k, right? Not the $720k as a whole. Still one of the biggest bag fumbles of all time though.
