I liked it at first. Then I soured on it. I'm beginning to detest the rise of the type of showboating I see pro players exhibit. Which why I no longer pay attention to the NFL anymore. Except when mention is made of former Vols players like Jauan Jennings, for example. Mainly, ex-Vols the fanbase dayumed for all eternity because they did stupid things. I believe people can learn from their disasters and utter dimwitted acts. Except those who refuse to, so rejoice in their success. Especially, when by all appearances they have left the stupidity behind for better things. So, I don't want to see Nico's head swell, and lead to an abyss.I love Nico, but I don't like that silly "Nico Suave" sobriquet.
Casey caught some flak from fans while playing in Knoxville. He has gained more praise over the years, especially given UT’s downturn.I thought pretty much everybody loved Casey Clausen (the Ice Man).
It was more Tyler Bray who tended to divide the fan base, because of his great innate talent offset by a lack of maturity.
Go Vols!
And to think the incompetent interim coach Brady Hoke wanted to ruin his career for calling the staff out on their incompetence, I am so happy Fulmer and Pruitt let him back in. He is a solid NFL WR now with a bright future ahead of him!I liked it at first. Then I soured on it. I'm beginning to detest the rise of the type of showboating I see pro players exhibit. My most cherished memory of a wayward Vol was when Jennings hugged Fulmer after the Auburn game, and said, "Thank you for believing in me."
O.K.. You've triggered my favorite Iceman moment. Either 3rd or 4th down with short yardage, Casey keeps the ball and leaps and tumbles into a sea of humanity. The announcer said "He looked liked an octopus falling out of a tree!".I thought pretty much everybody loved Casey Clausen (the Ice Man).

This is how I remember it. At the time he wasn't fully embraced because he: a) wasn't Peyton Manning and b) didn't win a natty or an SEC title. Since then though, alot of people now realize he was pretty good and that we were all spoiled.Casey caught some flak from fans while playing in Knoxville. He has gained more praise over the years, especially given UT’s downturn.
